• Drivers must have one year driving experience in either local, over the road, or regional within the last three years. Minimum of 50% of driving experience must be in the same or similar environment as the job applied for. (Mountain driving, type of equipment, length of equipment, previous job duties etc., will be considered in hiring.)
• Pass an extensive road test.
• Possess valid CDL license in the state you reside.

• No more than (3) moving violations within last (5) years. No more than (1) moving violation within the last year.
• No more than (5) non-moving violations in the last (2) years. (Equipment, lights, brakes, overweight, oversize, logbook, seat belt etc.)
• No speeding violations in excess of 14 miles per hour in last (3) years.
• No refusal to submit to an alcohol or drug test within last (7) years, no more than (1) ever.
• No DUI/or careless-reckless conviction within last (7) years, no more than (1) ever. None ever in a commercial vehicle.
• No license suspensions for moving violations within the last (3) years. No more than (1) license suspension ever for a moving violation.
• No more than (2) preventable accidents within past (5) years. None within the last year.
• No more than (1) careless driving conviction in the last (3) years, all must be explained.

• No felony or misdemeanor criminal offenses which would pose an unreasonable risk to our customers, staff, personnel or property, or which are or would be inconsistent with our operations.
• No felony or misdemeanor criminal offenses which includes, but is not limited to, convictions involving motor vehicle offenses, accidents, deaths, the illegal use, possession or sale of controlled substances or convictions of crimes involving moral turpitude or violations of fiduciary positions or positions of trust.

Applicants must be able to meet the physical requirements to perform the job, and pass the Department of Transportation mandated physical and drug screen requirements.

• Must be able to sit and remain alert while driving for aggregated period of time, up to eleven hours.
• Must be able to shift a manual transmission and push and operate the clutch pedal as needed. Requires 8 to 15 lbs. pressure for as long as 30 minutes at a time or longer in heavy traffic and several times throughout the day.
• Must be able to occasionally reach above shoulder level, at waist level and below waste level for maneuvering and directing the controls to operate the truck.
• Must be able to perform occasional squatting or crouching position to handle and position freight.
• Must ground level, with entry and exit achieved with the assistance of various configurations of steps and handhold requiring the driver to pull with the arms and push with the legs; also require occasional bending, twisting, climbing,
• squatting, crouching, and balancing. Balancing height 36 to 72 inches on cab, 8 to 10 times per day.
• Must be able to perform frequent pushing of freight up to 500 pounds on a dolly, cart, or manual pallet jack, as well as occasional pushing of freight more or less than 65 pounds without a mechanical aid or 2,500 pounds with a mechanical aid.
• Must be able to frequently perform carrying freight weighing 1 pound to 65 pounds, of varying shapes, a distance of at least 1 foot, but usually not more than 53 feet.
• Must be able to frequently reach for freight at waist level and occasionally reach for freight above shoulder height or below waist level.
• Must be able to load and unload full trailers of freight weighing as much as 50,000 pounds. This could involve moving 10 to 65 pound containers or cartons to and from the floor level to carts, stacks, conveyers or platforms, over 4 feet
• heights, or stowing cartons or other merchandise overhead that weigh as much as 65 pounds each. This type of activity could precede or follow as much as 11 hours of driving.
• Must be able to spend at least 20 to 30 percent of the day standing or walking on surfaces such as concrete, wood, metal and sometimes on slippery and wet surfaces.
• Must be able to couple and uncouple tractor/trailers, manually raise and lower landing gear by applying 10 to 100 pounds of torque in a circular motion with either hand, operate fifth wheel release by applying 5 to 50 pounds of
• torque pulling release arm on fifth wheel lock, open and close cargo doors by reaching above the head and applying 1 to 25 pounds of pressure to pull cargo doors and door latch, climbing in and out of both tractor and trailer, and pulling the hood to check engine oil and coolant levels.
